The summer has ended and as my Scottish husband says, “The nights are fair drawn in.” Dawn, slow to arrive, is resplendent with a plethora of brilliant colors in contrast with the monochromatic landscape. Especially in Alaska the bright colors of dawn are the uplifting at the start of the day.
